She even felt well enough to make some fresh baked gluten free bread!
Fresh baked bread!
So we actually had chicken salad sandwiches for lunch. They were delicious! We don't have bread very often because gluten free bread is difficult to find here, and even when you do, it's pricey. On the other hand, corn tortillas are plentiful and cheap, so that's what we normally have.
I got the faucet and sink reinstalled in Igor's new kitchen countertop, but not without some extra effort. The faucet actually went in nicely, because everything was easier to access with the sink is not in the way. But then the opening for the sink seemed to close to the faucet. I had to trim the mounting holes a bit to get it to fit. Anyway, that's done and now I can finish up putting the cabinet doors and drawers in once I test everything to make sure there's no leaks.
Once that's done, I need to take Igor to get some new exhaust brackets installed. That won't take long though, it's not a big job for the guys who have the right tools and do it on a regular basis.
Then we'll be pretty much done, and hopefully on the road towards Veracruz by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
For dinner, we got called over to an impromptu pot luck dinner. Ruth already had a pot of chili con carne in the crock pot, so it was easy to bring.
Kevin, Chago, Isidro, Blanca, Charlie.
Five more days until Blue Jays baseball starts up! I'm excited to watch baseball again!
