Unbelievable

Ruth just mentioned to me that it was ten years ago that we completed our first trial RV Caravan tour of Mexico. Ten years! Unbelievable.

We had a lot of fun showing other RV'ers why Mexico is such a great place to RV. It just has so much to offer.

That first trip was only a trial so we were only with the group for one month. However it was a great group of people, and we're still in touch with many of them.

The caravan arrived!

Anyhow, back to the present. 

It turns out that my paragliding lessons have been put off until early May. That's actually okay, because it gives us this month to complete a few things around the house, and I have a major project with Igor that I want to get done as well.

I'm going to replace the floor. The previous owners had left a leak under the sink unrepaired, and although I fixed it as soon as we bought him, the wood under the kitchen counter cabinet has deteriorated due to that leak. So there's no support under that cabinet and the floor at the base is soft. 

It's going to be a fairly big job, but it needs to be done.

Then when that's complete, we're going to take off towards the end of the month to explore the state of Veracruz. It's one of the Mexican states where we haven't spent enough time.

Our neighbors Charlie and Blanka invited us over for dinner yesterday...
