Rainy season runs June through September, although there can be some early rain in May, and last year we even had some rain into December, but that is rare.
But we've now had about three months without any precipitation so it's this time of year when the reservoir starts to get noticeable lower.
Three months ago.
Today.
And it will continue to go down for the next two months. Mid to late May will be the low point, and then the rains will start to fill it up again.
Sunday, we spent some time with friends Pepe and Maricruz. They have a house at the back of the marina and have just built an upper deck to get a better view of the lake.
View through the sailboat masts.
There's our house, and you can see the back end of Igor.

Because of the road closure on Sunday, we couldn't go to the normal place to do our weekly fruits and veggies shopping. So we went to a small tianguis (weekly market) here in El Arco on Monday. It's much smaller, and we think the prices are a little higher, but we got what we needed.
Ruth, enjoying some hammock time.
We spent a couple of hours organizing our kitchen, along with the new wall art we received. I think we've finally got it the way we want. Photos tomorrow!
