Today is Revolution Day... a federal holiday. So when we saw a few more tents set up that looked like they were staying the night, it finally clicked.
Not that it really would have made any difference for us. We still would have come up here. It's just not as peaceful as we were expecting. We went for a hike and the parking was starting to get quite busy.

We got back to the campsite to find it really busy! Mostly day use people, and in fact Igor was surrounded by parked cars. I forgot to get a photo. One family had taken over the table that was right beside us. But we know that's the way things work here in Mexico. We said hello and everybody was friendly.
There was some pretty loud music overnight, although it was pretty far away. This is typical of Mexico on a weekend, so we're not surprised. The Mexicans love their music!
We were thinking of moving to a different location just for a change of scenery and some new hiking trails, but given that today is a holiday Monday we think we'll just stay put. It's actually a perfect spot both for sun for our solar panels, and the angle to get optimal Starlink internet access.
