Beautiful views, and some crazy rock climbers

We've pretty much exhausted the hiking trails that are within walking distance from where we are, but decided to stay another day anyhow.

And good thing we did, because we found a nearby viewpoint that wasn't marked on the maps... and only a half hour walk away!

We relaxed for the morning, and set off for a walk after lunch.

The loggers were working on a holiday Monday.

Imagine loading those heavy logs all by hand. What a job. Amazing.

Apparently this is all being done because of some kind of bug.

We came to another beautiful open clearing, but it is private property and 

for tent camping only.

They stayed up there for quite a while just enjoying the view.

Had a totally quiet night last night. Woke up this morning to see that we are the only ones here. However, it's time to move on to a change of scenery. We are staying in the park, just headed to a different overnight spot.
