Valle de Bravo is getting decorated for the upcoming Dia de los Muertos celebrations...
We walked around some side streets that we hadn't explored before.
Valle de Bravo central plaza.
Pretty girls dresses.
We found a great place for big quesadillas. 30 pesos each.
They were delicious, and we were stuffed. We had two each, so lunch cost 60 pesos ($4.60 CAD, $3.25 USD) per person.
In one of the bigger grocery stores, I saw this anomaly.
Canadian Moosehead beer! It's not my favorite, it's just odd to see any Canadian beer in Mexico. 149 pesos ($11.40 CAD, $8.10 USD) for a six pack. For perspective, you can buy inexpensive local Mexican beer for as cheap as 58 pesos for a six pack. I honestly don't see this Moosehead selling very well down here!
We went to a motorcycle accessories shop and bought a couple of cheap helmets. Our ATV has a maximum speed of 65 km/h (40 mph) and it is a lot more stable than a motorcycle or scooter. So we don't need anything fancy, and we wanted something as lightweight as possible. We got a great deal at 350 pesos ($26.75 CAD, $19 USD) each.
Ussie with our new brain buckets on.
Funny how the brand name looks like a backwards K and an R.
It looks like rainy season is coming to an end. We had almost a week of no rain, and then we got quite a bit on Friday and another storm on Saturday afternoon. But the next four days are forecast to be perfect.... sunshine and 25C (75F).
