Two more sleeps

Well, anybody who cares already knows that the Toronto Blue Jays have won the first two games of a five game series against the New York Yankees. 

What a great couple of games for Blue Jays fans. Not so much for Yankees fans.

But, it's not over until it's over!

We watched the Saturday win at a pub with our son Alex, his girlfriend CJ and their friends.

Then the Sunday win at home on the Samsung curved screen.

They play again in New York on Tuesday evening, and hopefully the Jays can clinch the series win.

If not, they play again on Wednesday evening. We fly to Mexico City on Wednesday, so hopefully we will make it to our place near Valle de Bravo before the game starts. It's going to be tight. With any luck at all there won't need to be a game.

We're just tidying up loose ends here over the next two days. We picked up two free suitcases last week that someone was giving away. They're not in great shape, but they only need to survive one more trip. Can't remember the last time we traveled with anything more than carry on! But we have a lot of things that we're bringing down to Mexico. The main thing is Igor's new shocks, but we have a lot of Ruth's gluten free items that are difficult to get or very expensive in Mexico. 

We've enjoyed our time here, especially since we've been so lucky with the weather. But we're really looking forward to getting back to Mexico!
