When we arrived, we went for a walk to the central plaza and found that they have a big stage set up.
Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is coming up November 1-2, but it turns out that here in Valle de Bravo the celebrations actually start on October 25th. Most of the activities are in the evening, so we won't go in to see what's going on until next Saturday night.
There are a lot of decorations up.
Kevin, in between the two big displays.
El centro in Valle de Bravo.
We wandered all over town looking for parchment paper. Couldn't find it anywhere, so we'll have to have a look on Amazon Mexico and order it there if they have it. Then a couple of banking stops to take out some cash because we're going to need to pay the carpenter guys a deposit. They still haven't got back to us with a price though. Then on to the market to buy our fruits and veggies.
Back at home we relaxed for the rest of the day.
Some big clouds came in, and they had rain in Valle, but not where we are.
A little bit of color at sunset.
I think today I'm going to make the effort to get Igor out of the spot where he's been parked for the last six months. Should be interesting, because the rear wheels are sunk in there pretty good!
