Next winter, we are going somewhere guaranteed to be warm!

It was just a short drive yesterday as we made our way to the rock arch at Legzira Beach. Then another short drive to a "campground" near the town of Sidi Ifni.

There are still a few rock arches on this stretch of rough Atlantic coast, but one of them collapsed in 2016.

Once again, the dreary foggy haze wasn't letting much sun or blue sky through...

Legzira Beach.

There are a couple of small hotels and some restaurants here.

It's an interesting beach to explore.

It's about a twenty minute walk to the arch.

It was pure luck that we got there at low tide.

There had been another scenic arch here, but it collapsed in 2016.
This is all that remains.

Ruth.

View from inside another arch.

This rock is covered in little clam like shells.

I wonder how long ago that one chunk fell.

Interesting rock.

We made our way to another "campground". I use the quotation marks because it's more of a parking lot than a campground. But, for 70 dirham ($9 CAD, $6.75 USD) with electric included it'll do for a night. And, they have good hot showers.

Quite a few French motorhomes come to this campground long term. There are something like 250 sites, but it's probably less than 1/3 full. We don't understand the attraction, but once again it's a good thing we all have different likes and dislikes.

So far, Morocco by motorhome has been just okay. I know, we're only just over half way through the trip, but we don't think we would return. If we had to choose between the two, we would say that Turkiye has far more to offer, and there is quite a lot of Turkiye that we haven't seen yet. But, like our experience last year in Turkiye, the weather here in Morocco has been less than stellar. Next winter, we are going somewhere guaranteed to be warm!

Max, in the parking lot campground near Sidi Ifni, Morocco.

Today, we are headed inland. Not far, only to the town of Guelmim. Hopefully we can find some sunshine there!

Nice price drop on the Kodak Portable Photo Printer.

And in Canada...

    1. The scenery down on the beach and along the cliffs was great but the actually scenery up above was very non-descript. It was definitely a very interesting section along this beach, I am glad me made the effort to head down this far to see it.
