We could easily stay here longer!

Another perfect day from a weather perspective. Not a cloud in the sky, and 27C (81F).

We set off on another hike at around 10:00am, this time heading north up the valley. We found a couple of pedestrian bridges that crossed the river, so we went up one side and came back on the other side.

Lindsey, Cameron, Sadie, and Ruth on an interesting bridge.

Agadir near the town.

Exploring beside the river.

Sadie on the bridge.

Looking back on the path we came on.

Looking ahead down the valley.

Growing crops.

Me, carrying Sadie across the sketchy bridge.

Ruth, gingerly making her way across the river on a sketchy bridge!

Small waterfall in the distance.

We can't get enough of the beautiful scenery.

Lindsey, Cameron, and Ruth on the track on the left.
Sadie was walking up ahead with me.

I wonder how long those terraces have been like that.

Back at the guest house.

Once again, we did about 8 kms (5 miles).

We relaxed for the afternoon and played some games and I had a nap as well.

I think we're the only guests here. The large group that had come in late yesterday afternoon had departed immediately after breakfast.

Really enjoyed our time here. Could easily have stayed longer here at the Dar Ahansal Guest House. The staff are great, the food was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable. For Lindsey and the kids it was 750 dirham ($100 CAD, $72 USD) per night for the three of them, and it included full breakfast and dinner.

The owner here is a licensed mountain hiking guide who does long term hiking trips with tents and mules and assistance and all the gear ranging from two to seven nights up in the mountains. Would love to come back and do one of them!

Meatballs, roast potatoes, and veggies for dinner last night.
Along with soup and dessert.

But, it's time to move on. We've got a long drive ahead of us today to the city of Ourzazate. 310 kms (192 miles) and it will probably take about six hours, so we are getting an early start and plan to be on the road at 8:00am!
