Ruth's highlights of our past six months (Part 1)

Well Kevin did his reflection of our time in Mexico, now I going to do my version of some of our favourite highlights.  Be prepared there are just a FEW pictures!

Meeting up with friends, Chris and Juan at Potrero Chico, Nuevo Leon at the end of September

Seeing the fields of wildflowers near Valle de Juarez, Jalisco and also seeing Barb and Sal again

The beautiful town of Etzatlan, Jalisco and the rich agricultural land around it

Meeting up with Lee in Mazatlan, Sinaloa

Visting Kevin's cousin and his wife, Darl and Cindy (sorry no picture of them), in Puerto Vallarta

ATVing in the mountains with Gary (owner of the Altrarose Rancho RV Park), near Valle de Banderas, Nayarit

All the wonderful Mexican food for the campers at our Christmas feast at Hacienda Contreras.

And not one but two Mexican weddings

In the next day or two I will do Part 2, the second half of our six months.

  7. I bet learning the tamal spread was fun! I've never got the hang of it. Gotta have just a bit of masa on the outside so when you recalentarlos, it is nice and crispy!
