Okay, it's on to Part 2 of our past six months in Mexico.  We explored many new places as well as a few of our favourites.  It is really hard to pick some of these as we have so many wonderful experiences but we don't want this to go on forever for you so I'll try to keep it to a minimum.

And finally the big fiesta for the end of the camping season for Barb and Sal as a thank you the campers for such a fun season

There are so many more pictures I would love to show and so many more people to mention, like Paul and Helen, Daryl and Sandie who are more blog readers that came to meet us at Hacienda Contreras, but I don't have any pictures of us together.  Our couchsurfing hosts in Mexico City .  We have had a great time in Mexico these past 6 months and saw so many beautiful places and wonderful people.

We are now looking to new adventures for our next six months, so stay tuned!

Having said that, don't forget to get that daily vote in, it only takes 5 seconds to do it! Thanks for helping us win!

  1. The iguana day was fun. I am looking forward to your further adventures.

  2. You guys are having an incredible adventure! Good for you for disspelling misconceptions about travel in Mexico!

  3. What a great six months. When I look through your photos it reaffirms for me that it isn't just the beautiful places we get to see but the beautiful people we meet and get to spend time with that makes this life so great.

  4. What wonderful times you have enjoyed. I agree with Jamie and John. The real beauty is in the people we meet along the way and reuniting with family and friends.

  5. Oh, no pic of Sal with that bottle on his head? Oh well, I have a pretty good mental image. It's OK.

  6. What a Blessed life you two are having. Hope the next six months are as great as these last six. Enjoy your weekend. ~wheresweaver

  7. Incredible picture there at Piedra Tlacoyunque. What a sunset!

  8. Iguana soup???? how did I miss that one!?!

  9. Nice review, seems like Mexico agrees with you.

I climbed that pyramid at Teotihuacan, those uneven steps made for an interesting climb. Even more fun coming down.

I actually survived all those trinket vendors, too. :c)

    1. Yep, we made it up to the top of the pyramid too, sure was funny watching some of the people coming down on their bums one step at a time. I was glad that there was a rope handy, I had too use it on one very steep part. We survived the trinket guys too!

  10. It was a great 6 months Good luck on your new adventure
