We did manage to get out for a nice walk in the woods yesterday morning, and I don’t think it rained all day! No sun either, but at least it didn’t rain.
We were up at 4:45am this morning to take Ruth to Halifax Ottawa
So it’s just me and the dog for the next two weeks.
If the weather cooperates, I have a list of repair and maintenance items to do for Sherman
It’s still overcast, but they are actually calling for sunshine this afternoon, with a high of 24C (75F) so this could be the best day of weather since we arrived here 7 weeks ago! C'mon sunshine!

Sorry to hear you batching it for two weeks, Kevin , but you can make it, just remember the three basic food groups, Beer Pizza, and snacks, you'll make it through.Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
ReplyDeleteI wonder which of the two of you will miss Ruth the most?
ReplyDeleteDon't over do the list thing, don't want to get it all done at once, pace yourself, a little work, a little beer and so on. The 2 weeks will fly by and be awesome weather when she returns.
ReplyDeleteI bet the dog needed a bath after that hike :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very wet hike, but a beautiful place to hike. Whiskey still looks great. Enjoy your sunny day, we haven't seen one for weeks.
ReplyDeleteSam and Donna: Too funny. Yes, I think I'll be fine!
ReplyDeleteContessa: I think it's a tie...
George and Suzie: Yes, I am pacing myself exactly as you described.
Chuck and Anneke: Yes, we had to run the hose under her and rinse her off. Definitely messy.
pidge: We had some sun yesterday! Hope you get some too!
