Yesterday afternoon, we went to Blue Beach. It's not a swimming beach, it's a beach where they have found a lot of fossils over the years.
Grandson Cameron at Blue Beach.
But we didn't time things very well...It was almost high tide when we got there, and much of it is only accessible during low tide. And it's located on the Bay of Fundy which has the highest tides in the world.
In the photo above, you can see that just on the other side of Ruth there is a gulley. This gulley was quickly filling with water from the tide, and the people on the other side wouldn't be able to get back for several hours if they got cut off due to the rising tide. Lindsey went and warned them, and they only just barely made it back in time.
Then we went and visited with Karyn and Dave, a blog reading couple who live in Wolfville. They are also avid travelers, so there was a lot of travel discussion.
This morning, Ruth and I are taking Sadie and her friend Violet to a water park for her birthday present.
