That's a great workout!

Yesterday, we took Lindsey and the family to the OnTree Adventure Park. It's a really fun family activity center with zip lines and obstacle courses that run through the tree tops in the forest.

We had been there three years ago, but Lindsey had been working at the time, so she wasn't able to make it. But the rest of us had such a good time, we wanted to return... with Lindsey!

It's not cheap though... including taxes it's $58.50 CAD ($42 USD) per adult for a three hour pass. $5 cheaper for Cameron and Sadie. Not bad if it's just one of you, or a couple... but with six people it really adds up!

Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to have phones with us so there are no photos.

It's a bit of a silly situation... they're having a drought here in Nova Scotia, and the fire risk is very real because it's just so dry. They've instituted a ban on any forest activities... including hiking. So there won't be any hiking for us during our time here. Anyhow, OnTree got exempted because they're a private business, but they were handed a bunch of rules at the same time, one of which is that anything with a lithium battery isn't allowed because it might heat up and start a fire. A bit of stretch!

Good time was had by all... it sure is great exercise. We were all pretty much done by the end of the three hours.

Today is looking like a nice day... we might take the kids to the beach!
