So we didn't get out walking until about 2:00pm.
When we were driving to get groceries the other day, we had seen a sign on a walking trail pointing to a mirador (lookoff). So we decided to walk up there to have a look. It's mostly walking on a narrow paved road, but there is virtually no traffic.
It's just over 4 kms (2.5 miles) each way, and only two cars passed us the entire time!
Scenery along the way.
A very old building that at some point got added on to.
Me, on the trail.
We were surprised that there is an actual viewing structure.
View of the Río Miño looking towards Ourense.
Ussie at the viewpoint.
Looking down at the hamlet of Bazal.
Ruth, at the mirador.
They're calling for another cloudy day, so we think we'll head out to explore a town and leave the scenic hiking for a sunnier day.
