We were headed to an "adventure park"... it's kind of a farm that has some activities and a camping area. It gets great reviews on iOverlander and looked to be exactly what we needed.
And it was! It's a little expensive by Mexican standards, at 400 pesos ($31.80 CAD, $23.30 USD). But we asked the guy if we could get special pricing if we stayed three or four nights, and he agreed. No idea what the discount will be, and don't really care since we were going to stay that long at the regular price anyhow!
Entrance to the property.
We get this whole area to ourselves... for tonight.
There may be tent campers over the weekend... we'll see.
And of course we have another buddy.
He's really friendly and loves to have his tummy rubbed.
We saw a toucan in the wild!
He was kind of far away, but hopefully we'll see one again before we leave.
Ruth, the horse whisperer.
They keep things well maintained here.
Welcome!
They have a couple of cabins for rent as well.
They have a lime orchard.
The backyard.
It sure is green!
They have a treetop canopy course.
And horseback riding.
Pretty flower
Our "neigh"bors!
We were the only ones here all day. Totally quiet overnight until the birds starting chirping. It will be busier over the weekend, I'm sure. But we're going to hang out here until Monday morning. And, we're only a 2.5 km (one mile) walk from the town of Coatepec... another one of Mexico's Pueblo Magicos.

Great deal on these Solar String Lights.
And in Canada...
