We're not sure if we're the only "gringos" in town, but we've never seen anyone else. We have heard that there's a German couple living in the area, but we haven't seen them either.
I took a few pictures from our walk yesterday...
The water level has been slowly rising.
The main road behind the house. It's probably 150 meters from the house, so we don't get any road noise from it.
Heading uphill into town.
And downhill on the other side.
There's a small local market that sets up in the soccer field every Monday.
This is the guy who is doing the service work on our ATV.

This local shop is only about a 5 minute walk from our place.
This is the local car wash. They're always busy!
Back on the street behind our house.
This little convenience store is right behind us. We don't go there much because she's quite expensive.
The entrance to our property at the marina.
Part of the boat storage area.
Ruth saying good morning to one of the five dogs on the property.
The entrance to the greenspace.
