And we've been watching a lot of Blue Jays baseball... they've not had a good season, especially compared to last year but they've won 10 of their last 15 games, so maybe things are turning around in time to manage a playoff spot by the end of September.
We leave for Toronto on the evening of the 19th, so less than a week to go. Pretty excited about seeing everyone!
Another beautiful morning at Valle de Bravo.
Photo taken just a few minutes ago. We continue to have beautiful mornings, with thunderstorms moving in by mid afternoon. It's actually fantastic weather. You wouldn't think that parts of Mexico have better July and August weather than most northern areas! Consistent highs of around 24C (75F) during the day, and 13C (55F) at night. Perfect.
I've got my two internet projects pretty much completed. The first was to organize a group trip to Churchill, Manitoba to see the polar bears. We've now got three couples pretty much confirmed, and the schedule is made up. There's not really much more I can do with it until the train bookings become available, around the November/December time period.
The second was to figure out how to buy a vehicle in South America. Again, we've got it pretty much all figured out, but because we don't want to pick it up until April, we can't really buy it until December/January. So again, not much more that we can do on that.
Our ATV is back at the mechanics. I'm unimpressed, since it was running fine when I brought it to him, and now it won't idle properly and is running rough. He says he can fix it, so we're giving him the opportunity. We'll know more this afternoon.
