The only problem might be the lack of a gas station along the way!
We said goodbye to our new friends Maria and Geraldo, and hit the road.
Geraldo and Maria and their yurt accommodation.
There goes Bjorn, playing in the mud again!
Another yurt motel!
Vladdy and the view.
There he goes again...
We had do do a fairly shallow river crossing.
The road ahead!
Bjorn and Ruth enjoying the view.
Zoomed in on our road ahead.
After we did all the switchbacks, we parked at the bottom for a hike to a waterfall.
Heading to the waterfall.
Ruth.
Kevin.
The road ahead.
All this time, I'm watching the fuel gauge. We've learned that the gauge is not very accurate, and it fluctuates a lot. I had done the math versus the stated fuel mileage, but it is sure disconcerting when the low fuel light keeps coming on and beeping at you!
We made it to the first gas station that was listed on our route on Google Maps, and it was closed. By this time, the low fuel light was on constantly.
We stopped for a lunch break beside this river.
But, we made it to Naryn, and stopped at the first gas station. I filled up the 50 liter tank, and it took 44 liters... so we still could have gone another few kms. At least now I know the limits, although it is a good feeling to be traveling with another vehicle in case either of us do run out. We have now filled the 20 liter portable container just in case.
We found a nice free campsite beside the river at a city park in town.
The water is moving fast.
Night shot.
Tomorrow, we will decided to go up to Kol Suu Lake!
