Rainy season has begun

I think we're going to enjoy it when we return on July 23rd. We'll be back here at the house for a month until August 20th.

Yesterday, they were calling for a thunderstorm, and boy did we ever get one!

The thunder and lightning went on for about four hours, and we got over an inch of rain along with it...

And while the water level of the lake is low, it's not nearly as low as it was last year at this time. So that makes us very confident that it will have no problem filling up again over the summer. Very curious to see what it will be at when we return in July.

And we were reminded yesterday that thunderstorms can be kind of fun! Rainy season wouldn't be so much fun in a campervan, but when you're in a house they're not so bad! And, I have a new lightning app on my phone, and as you can see from the photo above, it works quite well! So that will add some more fun to rainy season.
