We did the last bit of our drive from the Dairy Farm to Preston yesterday.
Arrived in Preston around 3:00pm, and stopped in at a Lidl grocery store to pick up a few things we knew we would use, of course not knowing what our host Jane might have in the fridge that might need using up.
Jane and her cat Stripey live in a duplex in north Preston. It's a nicely done 3 bedroom unit with a big garden in the back yard that runs down to a stream.

Jane is a retired English Literature college professor. And she's off to Spain on a big family group trip with 22 other family members.
And this is Stripey the cat...
Stripey is about five years old and they think he's a Norwegian Forest cat.
Jane made us a nice salmon dinner, and we sat and talked for the evening. Fairly early to bed though, because we volunteered to get up at 5:00am to drive her to Liverpool airport an hour away!
