Nice weather

We've been fortunate that we've had decent weather since we showed up here. Perhaps we really did bring the Mexican sunshine with us!

It was sunny with clear blue sky all day yesterday. Could have been a little warmer, the high was only about 19C (66F) but the forecast for this weekend is HOT. The expected high getting close to 30C (86F) and that's the kind of weather I like. It will be a nice May long weekend for Ottawa. Monday is the Victoria Day holiday.

Kevin cutting the grass.

The backyard.

And facing back to the house.

Ruth, relaxing on the deck.

But the weather in England has been less than decent. I know it's three and a half weeks away, but we've been watching it for fun anyhow. Highs of between 10C and 15C (50F to 60F) and overcast with rain. That's okay, we will bring Mexico sunshine with us to England too!

Don't forget to vote, and have a great Friday!

  2. Boy, it probably has been a very long time since you took to the lawn mower.

What a lovely house. Ruth looks like she has sat and read there before. I love the backyard setting.

Voted once again. The end is in sight.

  4. 86 would be wonderful about now. We're ONLY going to be 96 today which is a nice break. But it goes right back up to 105 again. Enjoy your sunshine and hopefully England will come to its senses and bring in some sunshine for you.
