Harvest Hosts

You all know we love free camping, boondocking, and dry camping. Or any combination of those terms. We're not really "RV Park" type of people, so when we heard about Harvest Hosts we thought this was a fantastic idea.

Harvest Hosts is a member group where certain vineyards and farms around the country allow you to park your self contained RV for free at their property. They have strict regulations because you are not "camping", you are just parking overnight and visiting the property.

We first told you about them last April. At that time, they had around 150 farms and vineyards that had signed up. In the last six months, that number has grown to 208.

We're certain that we will be able to take advantage of this program during our trip south, and our return next spring. So we signed up for our membership yesterday!

  1. Hi everybody,

Just wanted to let you know that Harvest Hosts now has over 400 farms and wineries with more being added all the time. And 2,000 Harvest Hosts members too! Come join the fun.

    1. We think this is a great program and are happy to see it growing. Anyone interested in Harvests Hosts should check it out.
