They're here!

Ruth and I did the two hour bus ride from Valle de Bravo to the Poniente bus terminal at the western part of Mexico City. It was around 1:00pm when we arrived there, so lunch time. And we know of a great little food stand just down the road that does fantastic huaraches!

We walked back to the Observatorio Metro Station and took the subway to downtown. Then walked up to our hotel.

We got ourselves checked in to the hotel, then we went to the Vasconcelos Library.

It's a really cool library.

Then we walked to this kiosko.
The Alameda de Santa Maria La Ribera.

Very cool.

We went back to the hotel and had a nap, then took the metro to the airport.

They have arrived!

They didn't get fed very well on their United flight, but we know of a great birria taco place. 

Sadie, Kevin, Cameron, Ruth, Lindsey, and Justin.

Gotta go... busy day exploring ahead!

      It was a fantastic library and I am glad that I found it online and that it was actually walking distance from our hotel.

      The huaraches were delicious and filling.

      It was a great day, we just wish that we had another day in Mexico City, there was still more that we wanted to show them.

      We are going to have such a good time with them over the next couple of weeks.

      We love those kinds of buildings. Both the library and the gazebo were so different and from such different times. We really like that kind of variation.

      It was a very interesting library design, we enjoyed seeing it,

      It is wonderful to have Lindsey and the family here visiting. We are looking forward to showing them many of the sights in the area.
