Just a few pics around the park

Just a nice relaxing day yesterday. It was gorgeous sunny hot weather. Temperature got up to about 34C (93F) but there is no humidity at all, and there was a nice breeze all day. We went and sat down by the waterfront in the afternoon, and it was hot, but not uncomfortable.

We also went out for a morning walk up above the park.

Just a few pics for you...

Sunrise this morning.

We had a really nice visit, but today we are heading back into Alberta. It's about 355 kms (220 miles) to Taber, Alberta and we are headed there to visit friends Barry and Jeannie who were on one of our Mexico RV caravan trips.

And in Canada...

  1. Very nice park and we liked the drive through the rolling hills. I think that our spot was in the picture. Great memories!

    1. So many people think that Saskatchewan is flat but really it has lots of rolling hills and we like that, we miss seeing trees though when we are driving through the prairies.

Yes, I think you stayed down in one of those spots when you were here. We had some fun days then. :-)

    1. It really is pretty in that area! We love the rolling hills and the coulees. The park really is in it's own little oasis.

  3. I am glad you finally found some summer. I know it must feel good after the cool temps you've had for so long, but really glad you're not suffering with high humidity. If you need some of that, I can send it right your way from North Carolina. Haha! Beautiful photos.

    1. We are very happy too! :-) As much as we loved Norway, there was just too much rain and cool weather for us, although we did have some beautiful days thrown in there.

Lol, no you can keep your high humidity, I am sure we will get our share of it when we arrive in Ottawa if it is still hot there by then.
