I rode my bike back to the hotel this morning and used the internet for a bit. We’re not customers there any more, so I don’t want to overstay my welcome in their lobby, although nobody seems to mind.

At 8:30am, I rode my bike down to the hotel we stayed at night before last. It’s only about half a km up the road, and I could easily see the hydro crews were still working, I checked with the girl at the counter, and she told me the power wouldn’t be working until Friday morning. We left the El Tajin ruins at about 9:00am. We headed for the Esmeralda Coast, which is a beachfront roadway between Poza Rica and Veracruz. It’s a popular area for Mexicans to come and vacation
