Getting things sorted.

Well, we've got six days to visit with everyone we want to, and get things sorted out for our drive west and the next five months in Saskatchewan. First thing I'm trying to get done is to get the car out of storage, but so far I'm not getting any answer from the people who need to let me in there!

And of course I have to get it insured, but that's all done online. Then, the license sticker is expired and I need to get the (rip off!) Ontario emissions test done in order to get the new sticker.

We took Lindsey and the grandkids to the local park yesterday. It's fun taking a three year old to the park!

Lindsey and Sadie, going down the slide!

Kevin, waiting for Cameron to come down the slide.

Going down the slide together.

The park is for kids of all ages!!

Notice that it was a little chilly. Well, it was for Ruth and I...we're not used to this. It was actually quite a nice day, the sun was shining and the temperature was about 10C (50F). Not bad, for the middle of April.

The snow has almost all melted, just a couple of small patches in the shade. They had a lot of snow in this area this past winter, and now that it's all melted, the Mississippi River is near an all time high. (By the way, that's the Canadian "Mississippi" River...no relation to the big one in the U.S.!)

The Galetta hydro dam is right scross the road from Ruth's dad's house.

The water is pouring over!

Happy Easter weekend everyone!!
