I know, more of the same…but this place kind of grows on you. Besides, nobody ever comes to collect the rent! I’m sure we’ll end up paying it all, but still, it’s kind of strange.

We didn’t do much today. Sat on the beach this morning and then walked a bit. Ruth made a stew and we had S&G and Dean and Pinar over for lunch and Pinar brought some kind of Turkish cabbage dish and a salad to go with the stew.

Another great sleep in the jungle! We were ready to go by 7:15am or so because we wanted to get past the unbelievable traffic that is now at Playa Del Carmen and beyond, plus we wanted to get to the beach campground before anybody else showed up because we knew that when we left yesterday there were only two spots left.

We had a great sleep last night. We got up at about 7:30am, and we could hear that Lynn already had neighbours visiting for coffee.
