Ruth's weekend while I was away...

So, I took off on Thursday afternoon to spend the weekend away with the boys. Ruth was looking forward to seeing some of the girls she worked with 35 years ago when she was a hair stylist at First Choice Haircutters.

They got together Thursday evening for dinner.

Ruth had a nice salmon salad.

Nothing to drink. The bill was $37.69 CAD ($27.08 USD) tax and tip included.

On Friday, Ruth's sister Lesley and her friend Lynn came for a visit. Lesley lives in Hamilton, Ontario, about five hours drive from here on the other side of Toronto.

On Saturday, they went down to a specialty store near here called One World Bazaar. They sell original hand crafted artisan items from around the world. A very interesting store to wander around, but also very pricey...

Lesley and Lynn departed Sunday morning, and then yesterday evening my younger sister Alison arrived from Calgary and we picked her up at Ottawa airport. She is only here until Saturday for a quick visit with her son and our mother. Big family dinner out for everyone this coming Friday night.
