Very strange!

Man it is a small world sometimes, isn't it? Do you remember the strange coincidence we told you about when we were in South Africa? That was just simply weird. It still leaves us shaking our heads.

Well we learned of another strange coincidence yesterday.

Long time blog readers Esther and Steve arrived yesterday for a visit. They're full time RV'ers, on their way east and we're happy they made a little detour up here to see us!

They had a long driving day and we invited them for dinner.

Ruth, Kevin, Steve, and Esther. They brought wine! :-)

Anyhow, of course the conversation is all about RV'ing and travel. So get this...

It turns out that their son is getting married in early October. And it's an international wedding. He's marrying a girl from South Korea.

The wedding is in South Korea.

Of course you all know where we're going to be in October...South Korea!

From reading our blog, Esther already knew about this strange coincidence, but she of course didn't know our schedule. They said that if we're going to be in Seoul on October 4th that we're invited to the wedding!

Well, we didn't have a schedule yet, other than knowing that we arrive on October 2nd. So I guess we're going to a South Korean wedding! How cool is that??!!

    1. We are thinking the same and we can't wait to see the actual wedding. I think this is one of the best ways to experience the local culture.

    1. Esther is going to try to find out what the dress code should be and then will let us know so that we can hopefully be properly dressed for the occasion.

    1. Not sure if it can get any stranger, but with a few of these chance happenings you just never know what might come up next.

  8. Mexican, South Korean, you guys are beginning to specialize in international weddings. Pretty amazing.

    1. I think maybe we would like a theme like that. What better way to immerse yourself in the local culture than by attending a wedding. We are definitely looking forward to this.
