I went outside about 10:00am to get started... but the job was already done!
He was sitting there all nice and shiny!
Igor, all cleaned up.
Turns out our friend Chago, who owns the marina here, had one of his employees give him a bath. Thanks Chago! We sure do love living here. So far, this has been a great decision for us.
But despite how much we love living here, we also love exploring by motorhome. And that's exactly what we're going to do for the next month or so.
We're hitting the road around 9:00am and taking the backroads to the Grutas de la Estrella. Last time we tried to take these back roads was the first time we were here way back in 2010. That experience didn't go so well. You can read about it here.
But back then, we had larger motorhome and just a paper map in hand. Nowadays, with GPS and Google Streetview, it's so much easier to plan these types of routes in Mexico. And, we're a little more familiar with the area compared to then.
Anyhow... stay tuned...
Amazon's Big Spring Sale is on now!
And in Canada...

Safe travels and have a great time!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I am sure that we will have a fun time exploring.
Deletethat was a nice gesture from Chago.
ReplyDeleteSafe Travels and Enjoy the Adventures.
It's about time.
It was very nice of Chago and he is one of the reasons that we love staying at marina. We are looking forward to going out and exploring an area of Mexico that we haven't spent much time in.
DeleteHope things go smoothly and look forward to traveling Mexico vicariously through you, as usual! Nice about the send-off bath Igor got!
ReplyDeleteThank you, we hope it all goes smoothly too, especially the roads, lol!
DeleteKevin was lucky, his workload got a whole lot easier for the day, although he did say that he was looking foward to giving Igor a bath. Chago is such a nice guy, we tries to keep us happy and we try to keep him happy. 😊
Very nice of them to wash your rv. Curious to know if you tipped the guy. Do they expect tips?
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice of Chago to do this for us. No we didn't tip him, and no tipping isn't a huge thing in the non touristy parts of Mexico although I am sure it would be accepted but not expected. We try to live like the locals as much as possible and follow their lead.
