Finally... a fantastic Canadian cell phone plan!

As most of you know, we love a great deal. So I have to share this one with our Canadian readers.

Canada is consistently ranked as the most expensive in the world when it comes to cellular data plans. Canada's "cost per gigabyte" of data is typically seven times more expensive than Australia, 25 times more than Ireland and France, and 1,000 times more than Finland.

Yesterday, I came across a deal, and I signed up right away because it was too good to pass up.

Public Mobile is having a "flash sale". And you have to be quick, because it ends tomorrow!

Public Mobile is owned by Telus, and uses the Telus network in Canada. They use T-Mobile and AT&T when you roam in the United States, and a huge plus for us is that they use the Telcel network here in Mexico.

So... what's the deal? Well, you can sign up for unlimited Canada/US/Mexico calling and a very healthy 60 gigabyte data plan for only $20 CAD plus tax per month for the next 24 months!

This is far cheaper than the cheapest competitive plans available.

I was even able to sign up while here in Mexico. I was also able to keep my number and have it transferred over. The entire process took about an hour and a half, and I was surprised at how easy it was.

Yes, that is a referral link, so I get a bonus when you sign up. However you also get a bonus when you sign up through the link... a $10 account credit, plus of course the fantastic deal. It's a win/win for both of us!

Remember, this deal ends tomorrow... so I would get on it today if I were you.

  1. We moved to Freedom Mobile Unlimited Can/USA/Mexico and some limited overseas usage bonuses. Pay with taxes $37/month and price doesn't increase we were told. Just FYI to check out further

    1. I dropped Freedom Mobile for this because... almost half the price... and Telcel service in Mexico. Can't really understand why you would stay with Freedom Mobile.

    2. Plus, your "unlimited" is really only 10GB of high speed data. The balance is very slow.
