Well that was a good day!

Our friends Pepe and Maricruz have a house here at the marina, and they knew that we would be here with Lindsey and family. Pepe's sister has two daughters about the same age as Sadie, and they are learning English, so we all figured it was a good idea to get together.

Coincidentally, it was also my birthday.

It was not planned to be a party, but it kind of turned into one!

Word got around, and some of the neighbors heard it was my birthday!

I was sad that Paco and Oti weren't here!

The children all got along well.

Today is market day once again! Looking forward to going into town for Sunday tacos and wandering around.

    Please give details on the cake. Is that pieces of fruit in Jello? It looks like cream, but I am very intrigued.

      Yes, it was all gelatin. There were different colours of jello cut up and then placed in some other kind of jello that contained 3 different kinds of milk. It was made in a round mold sort of like a bundt cake would be made it. It is called Gelatina de Mosaico.
