Cameron is quite the fisherman!

Cameron has been out fishing a lot. The one time with our friends Paco and Oti in their boat, but otherwise just off the dock in front of our house.

There are often some locals who come down and fish off the same dock, and Cameron isn't shy about getting along with other people, even when there are language challenges.

Anyhow, he was having a problem getting any bites at all. So he somehow communicated with one guy who let him use a different lure.

He finally landed a decent sized large mouth bass.

Cameron and Sadie are home schooled, but the home schooling group they belong to does an online debate every Monday. Yesterday they had to participate in that at 1:00pm, so we didn't go very far. We did get out for a walk along the road that goes around the lakeshore.

He's a pretty proud fisherman!

    I don't know why I didn't know they were home schooled. I can only imagine the education they get from you and Ruth from your travels.

      I am not sure if we mention that they are homeschooled in our blog because really it has only been the last couple of years or so that Lindsey has been homeschooling them.

      We think she is doing a great job with them and the homeschooling group that they are part of is fantastic. What they learn from us is just a bonus! 😊

      That last one was definitely a big one and he was very proud of that catch.

      Yes, it would be a good picture to get a print of. 😊

      No, we aren't eating them. The first one was too small and had to be thrown back in the lake and the second one Cameron wanted to give it to the couple that had been helping him out on the dock. They were the ones that lent him the lure, plus Cameron doesn't like to eat largemouth bass.
