They want to know about your education, how many children you have, their dates of birth and more.
And apparently once you've told them your life story, you can still be denied a visa. So we'll see. Obviously we're not booking flights until we know the visas are approved.
Anyhow that's done, so now we wait.
The rain let up to a light drizzle in the afternoon, so we did get out to see a bit of downtown Brecon. Kind of tough to take decent photos though...
Drizzly day in Brecon, Wales.
Main street.
Later in the day, we took Tigs for another drizzly walk. He doesn't like this weather either, but we managed to get out with him for 45 minutes or so. I didn't bother taking the phone with me because I actually didn't think he would be that long.
And, we did some route planning. When we leave here tomorrow we're going to head to the Pembrokeshire coast where there are a couple of hikes we want to do if the weather co-operates. Then along the south Wales coast to Cardiff, and then in to England where we hope to use our English Heritage card on a daily basis! Then next weekend to Helen and Tony's house for another fun weekend with them. Then into Devon the following week.
I've applied for another house sit in Weymouth August 3-6, but no word back on that yet. Then after that we'll head towards London where we pick up grandson Cameron on August 15th.
It's going to be a busy few weeks ahead of us!
Wow... I'm seeing some blue sky outside. Time to take Tigs for a stroll.

I am happy to see the comments section on your blog working again. Last week I attempted to make a comment and I got a message about having to be a member of the blog. I had not seen this requirement on other blogs so I was at a bit of a loss. I also noticed that there had not been any comments in awhile so I figured something was wrong. I love following along on you journeys!!
ReplyDeleteThere actually wasn't an issue with our commenting section, we had specifically turned it off and there is a possibility that it might happen again and if it does just send Kevin and email and he will add you to the member's list so that you can freely comment any time you wish. We are finding that many of our readers have been finding it easier to post their comments on our Facebook page rather than on the blog itself.
DeleteWe are happy to hear that you enjoy following along on our travels. Thank you for being a long time reader. :-)
Thanks for the explanation!!! I am not much of a Facebook user but I understand others might prefer it 😁.
DeleteNo worries, as I said if you notice that you can't comment again, just send Kevin an email (it's located part way down the righthand column) and he will add you to the member list.
