We're heading down to the coast, but we're taking a route we've never done before.
And we now have a couple of deadlines. On the 19th, we are meeting friends from Canada who are vacationing in Ixtapa (Zihuatanejo). And on the 21st, we're doing a mine site tour near Arcelia, Guerrero in another area we've never visited.
This fellow sits out in the afternoon sun in behind Igor every day.
So, now that we have some deadlines, here's what the schedule looks like for the next two weeks or so. From here, we head down to Melaque for a night or two, but depending on how the drive down goes we may stop somewhere for a night along the way. Then south along the coast. We'll stop for a night or two at Rancho B to see friends Barb and Mark who were on one of our RV Caravan trips. Then continue on to Maruata, Playa Troncones, and then Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. After that, up to Arcelia, and then home to Valle de Bravo.
So... here is our drive over the next two weeks or so...
1,219 kms (756 miles) over the next two weeks.
Mmm... Ruth is making pancakes and real Canadian maple syrup for breakfast. Gotta go!
