Really pleased overall, but the two smaller ones are actually a bit too small.
The smaller ones would be fine if there were three in a row organized on the wall, or something like that.
Pictures arrived early!

The sunrise photo of the volcano came out nice, but I would have liked it slightly larger.
You can see our two new bedside tables as well.
Photos above are not the finished product yet. We have new sheets coming for this bed and bedside lights. Just wanted to show you the pictures.
Things are coming together! The guest room is pretty much finished, but we're going to order one more large photo for that room.
Today... we are hiking up with my sister Alison to the paragliding viewpoint... and flying back down!

We think so too and we are very pleased with them but we also now have a better idea of the sizing so the next lot of pictures will hopefully be better sized.
DeleteThe pictures look great, but I agree that (in most cases) bigger is better. We've ordered a bunch of canvases, and I always order one size larger than I think I need. I've also grouped them in two places where there were 2-3 very similar ones, which makes a striking look. Gets a bit pricey to do that but they make me smile when I see them, so it's really a bargain. And still way cheaper than buying original art. As much as I'd love to do that, large original art just isn't in the budget!
ReplyDeleteYes, we now have abetter understanding of the sizes so our next lot of pictures will be bigger, unless we want to group a few small ones together as you suggested.We are pleased with the look of them though.
DeleteYou need to find a smaller wall for the volcano picture (like where the arts palace picture is). You could get a couple of other animal/bird pictures done to group with the iguana like Emily has done.
ReplyDeleteAlison also suggested getting some similar pictures to group with the iguana picture so that is what we will do.
DeleteFor now we will keep the volcano picture over the bed until we find another picture that we like and then we will make sure to make it bigger. Thanks for your suggestions.
