We spent a couple of hours on the Coast to Coast Path

We had a beautiful day yesterday, and we took the dogs for a walk up at the edge of the North York Moors National Park. This section is part of the Coast to Coast path that runs 192 miles (309 kms) across northern England.

We had actually considered doing the entire walk this summer until we found out how much it would cost in accommodation and meals!

But, we're happy to be able to do a small section of it.

The path is well signposted!

Starting to get some views.

Maisie.

Jasper.

We climbed to the top of Beacon Hill.

Lots of antennas at the high point!

Maisie and Jasper.

Looking back at the village where we parked the car.

Scenery along the way.

A young pheasant?

It's going to be hot today, with a high around 30C, so we likely won't take the dogs exploring with us. Back to normal tomorrow though, and they'll be cooler staying at home today.

  1. Great scenery! It looks like Maisie and Jasper are a good pair to take around and care for!
