Listen to our hour long interview...

Today is the day that our interview is available at the 2015 RV and Travel Summit. If you haven't done so already, you'll have to register first, and then you'll get an email that gives the link to today's interviews.

Actually, now that I check, it's only 43 minutes. We haven't listened to it ourselves yet. There's not a lot of editing that was done so I hope we didn't say anything too stupid! It's too bad, but the day that we did this, Ruth had a really raspy voice because she had a cold. So she doesn't say very much, which is rare for her. And I said a lot, which may not be a good thing. Anyhow, it should be interesting, and we're curious about your feedback.

Once you get to the schedule for today's interviews, there's also a link at the top labeled "Replays" where you can listen to any of the interviews over the past week that you may have missed.

So, go here to register, and those who have already registered will get an email shortly announcing the availability of today's interviews.

Enjoy...let us know what you think!

So we went grocery shopping last week. Fruits and veggies are getting ridiculously expensive. One store wanted $8 for a head of cauliflower! I'm serious. We saw the sign that said $3.50 (and we thought that was expensive!), and we picked one up. But it turned out to be $3.50 a pound!

We put it back. Sorry, but anybody who pays $8 for a head of cauliflower is nuts.

Remember when the price of fuel was going up? They blamed the increase in groceries on that, right? I remember. So now, the price of fuel is much lower. Where's the decrease in grocery prices now?

We're using Checkout51 to save a few dollars. I think we saved $4 with them last week.

Speaking of groceries, Amazon.com has a fantastic deal on toothpaste. Stock up on a 3-pack of the large size of Colgate for only $5.96. Less than $2 a tube! Ships for free with any order over $35. So if you're having an order come anyhow, include this!

Colgate Toothpaste, 8.2 Ounce, 3 Count on Amazon.com - USA

And Amazon.ca has a great deal on Gluten Free Rice Krispies...only $2.88 a box! Again, free shipping if you're buying other stuff at the same time.

Kellogg's, Rice Krispies Gluten Free, 340g on Amazon.ca - Canada

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mom's out there!

  3. I don't like to post links but when you said cauliflower for $8, here is the price in Mexico. 26 pesos for a whole cauliflower! that's $1.73. No wonder I love Mexico so much! Come south as fast as you can. Just started the podcast but decided to wait so we can listen together. You guys sound great! I think we may hear things we never knew :)

    1. Chris, if we could we would but unfortunately that won't be until October! We sure are missing Mexico and all the fresh fruit and veggies at such great prices.

      Hope you enjoy the interview!

    1. We can't for the life of us, understand how a cauliflower can cost so much here and it isn't even organic!

  5. And you were saying what about US prices back during the winter?

    1. We were saying that the prices seemed to be higher than what they used to be. And, they were certainly a lot higher than most foods in Mexico but we also knew that prices were going to be even higher in Canada. I do remember also saying at one point, that we thought produce in Canada was cheaper than in the U.S. and a lot of it is still cheaper but not everything!
