Happy 4th of July!

Hoping all of our American friends and readers are enjoying their holiday today. It's been a long time since we were in the U.S. on Independence Day. We think it was about twenty years ago!

Dammit. I left my 4th of July t-shirt in the motorhome! You'll have to make do with a photo from the past...

This was from July 4th 2010...

The only time I've ever worn this t-shirt is on July 4th!

And I really like that t-shirt, but I couldn't see carrying it around just to wear it for one day!

Not much to talk about today, except that we're pretty much sold out at the campground. Plus, they're calling for fantastic weather so we're expecting it to be a busy weekend. Anyhow, daughter Lindsey provided us with some fantastic grandkid photos, so we're going to have a proud grandparent moment right now.

Some of our regular readers will remember Cameron's watermelon pic from a couple of years ago. Lindsey has been taking one each year, and I expect they'll continue. We look forward to Sadie's first watermelon pic in September!

Ha! I love this!

And speaking of Sadie, Lindsey had them out in the field making mud pies. Too funny...

Good thing they make kids washable!

Anyhow...we're at the time of year where we only work half days. 9:00am to 9:00pm. So we better get at it!

  2. LOL, that Sadie sure is having a fun time making mud pies! Like the idea of taking a pic of Cameron each year eating watermelon. Hurricane Arthur is passing by us at Rehoboth Beach DE - so far not too bad. Thanks for the Happy 4th of July wishes - Kevin's shirt is perfect!

    1. She sure looks happy doesn't she?! We think it was a great idea of Lindsey's too, I love looking at the differences of him growing up. Can't wait to see one of Sadie.

Hope you had a great 4th of July and didn't have to spend it hunkering down to avoid the storm. It is now headed Lindsey's way.

  4. Sadie likes to work in the dirt just like her grandma, who plants lovely flower gardens.
