Greenwood, Nova Scotia

On the road early yesterday morning, but only had a short drive to do. First we picked up our little car where we had it parked for the last couple of weeks at Gaspereau Mountain, then we went over to Lindsey's and had a shower and visited with her and Cameron for a bit.

I grandfathered Cameron for a couple of hours while Ruth and Lindsey went and did some shopping. He was such a good little boy! He's really starting smile a lot and be more interactive. He also rolled over on his own the other day and can now hold his head up while lying on his stomach.

Then we drove over to Greenwood to our friends Paula and Jerry. They have a truck camper, and are off to a get together with other truck camper friends near Bar Harbor, Maine for an extra long weekend. They asked us if we wanted to house sit while they're gone, so this is a welcome relaxing change for us. We originally met Paula and Jerry at Hacienda Contreras RV Park in Mexico.

We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the afternoon sunshine, and it was the first truely nice summer day we have had since we arrived in Nova Scotia at the end of March. Let's hope it continues.

We shared a wonderful dinner with them...grilled sweet potatoes and stuffed chicken breast and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Yumm!

Cheers!

Paula and Jerry left before we were up this morning and are coming back on Tuesday.Today is looking like another nice day so we're hoping to get some much needed maintenance work done to Sherman and the little car. Even if it's just a thorough vacuum job...I'm sure there is still some Mexican sand that is stuck in the carpet!
