One of things we have to be careful of in a restaurant is to make sure that they have some gluten free options for us.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-45860247392588384952016-11-07T05:33:20.947-05:002016-11-07T05:33:20.947-05:00You can also try Sergiana Restaurant. I ordered a vegetable soup which was full of veggies and Kevin had ordered a chef's salad but the salad never arrived to the table, nor were we billed for it.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-83609997364767373032016-11-07T01:29:31.489-05:002016-11-07T01:29:31.489-05:00Agreed, it did lack the green vegetables, which is...Agreed, it did lack the green vegetables, which is one reason why I had the vegetable soup which was delicious and full of vegetables and Kevin had ordered a chef's salad but our inattentive waiter totally forgot about it and we never saw him and when we did we couldn't catch his attention in order to get the salad and by the time he did come to the table Kevin had already finished his meal. We never mentioned it and he never put it on the bill.

Believe it or not, we have never been up the hiking trail near San Cristobal de las Casas to get the over view of the city. Guess that is one we will have to do some time when we return back to that area.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-3195394963231325622016-11-07T00:48:54.426-05:002016-11-07T00:48:54.426-05:00Romania was never under Soviet rule, although ther...Romania was never under Soviet rule, although there was a Soviet military presence up until 1958. Maybe fresh green vegetables are also ordered ala carte in Romania. The Viennese waiters would bring them on a serving platter with a sunny-side up egg right on top. Yuck!

DeeDee Tillotsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01602508098099644096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-64046562457606320742016-11-06T08:26:23.954-05:002016-11-06T08:26:23.954-05:00The food looked good, but the lack of green vegeta...The food looked good, but the lack of green vegetables would be a problem for me. Wonder if that is typical of the food there? Price seems very good, though, especially with the drinks! Glad you got to enjoy a nice hike even in the city. There is a similar (but shorter) hiking trail in San Cristobal de las Casas in Mexico that gives a beautiful view of the city; perhaps you have done it?
