I feel like some of them might keep it to cover their hedging losses, then even if they lock in low prices, if prices are going up, they would blame it on that again. Of course, if there is enough pressure from other airlines dropping it, that could change things.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-airlines-usa-fueloil-idUSKCN0PX2QZ20150723

There was an interesting article a while back in Fortune 500 magazine about Jon Ruggles trying to change up Delta's hedging practice.

http://fortune.com/2014/06/02/secret-club-kate-kelly/Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15092039781709106727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-11675988800203291982016-01-26T09:21:34.192-05:002016-01-26T09:21:34.192-05:00We believe it!We believe it!Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-45706594372218250032016-01-26T09:21:01.376-05:002016-01-26T09:21:01.376-05:00That is exactly why we found that RVing was a grea...That is exactly why we found that RVing was a great, it is very easy to do when you have pets. The airlines are much like farmers complaining no matter what (we have farmers in the family and they do). The fuel surcharge drives me crazy - also Airport improvement fees do to.
