Put that child in the tour boat at the bottom of the falls and they would think that was pretty cool. :-)Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-13952286418199000942020-12-12T02:03:29.750-05:002020-12-12T02:03:29.750-05:00Glad to hear that you haven't tired of our rui...Glad to hear that you haven't tired of our ruins pictures either. Just like the ancient ruins in Mexico, each one is different in their own way, even though it is just a "pile of rocks", lol.

Those goats weren't afraid of us, most of the time they see us they run away but these ones were very curious, maybe they smelled our food. That one particular one seemed to love me.

I love that story about seeing all those amazing places in China but the child's favourite thing was the truck with the pigs! You just never know what is going through a young child's head. :-)Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-74765511882337802852020-12-12T01:58:41.748-05:002020-12-12T01:58:41.748-05:00I think that just about every ancient ruin/communi...I think that just about every ancient ruin/community had a theatre. We never realized that there were so many ruins here and so much history, then again it was one of the few times that we booked a trip last minute like that with out doing a pile of research beforehand. I think our only other time doing that was when we went to Peru a year ago October, and we loved that trip too. :-)Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-54608778201826104022020-12-12T01:53:11.826-05:002020-12-12T01:53:11.826-05:00We keep learning new things everyday! We keep learning new things everyday!Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-4482037950358904072020-12-12T01:52:24.093-05:002020-12-12T01:52:24.093-05:00It was a nice hike with some pretty views and a bi...It was a nice hike with some pretty views and a bit of history thrown in, it was a fun afternoon.

We are glad to hear that you are not tired of the ruins yet because I think we may just see a few more before we are done with this trip! :-)Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-87090510117879377572020-12-11T19:28:38.726-05:002020-12-11T19:28:38.726-05:00My friend took her daughter to see Niagara Falls a...My friend took her daughter to see Niagara Falls and she said "It's just water."
Elspeth Readhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01412631907112053091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-90237389987338129962020-12-11T18:45:16.949-05:002020-12-11T18:45:16.949-05:00Never too many pictures of ruins and the goat shot...Never too many pictures of ruins and the goat shots are incredible, including the one with Ruth!

A joke from Jim Gaffigan: China was fascinating and exhausting. I brought my kids to The Great Wall, we saw the Terracotta Warriors, we walked through the Forbidden City, we rode in a ricksha, and when we were leaving I asked my five year old, I said, “What was your favorite part of China?” And he said, “I liked that time we saw the truck with the pigs on it.”living.boondockingmexicohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17157433834193440923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-57988368135251498452020-12-11T16:39:52.372-05:002020-12-11T16:39:52.372-05:00You're right - odea is plural and the singular...You're right - odea is plural and the singular can either be odeum or odeon.Elaine Readhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16070038707624961451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-25029283557065800262020-12-11T12:16:53.770-05:002020-12-11T12:16:53.770-05:00Surprisingly, no.
