Speaking of snakes...

Just an update of our activities the last two days.

On Thursday we drove a half hour or so over to the town of Windsor to meet friends Aron and Owenita. This is one of the couples that was on our last RV caravan to Mexico in the winter of 2019-2020.

Sadie has been saving her money and wanted to treat herself to her own birthday gift by getting her nails done. So Lindsey and Ruth went with her and one of the neighbor girls to keep her company.

The finished product.

We went to a small restaurant where the owner himself served us. There were only 7 tables, but we arrived early so we got a table. Busy place, and it gets great reviews. And the food was really good!

Fish and chips for me!

Ruth had the fish chowder, which she also said was delicious.

But we're not in Mexico anymore! With two beers, a cider, and tax and tip the bill was $106 CAD ($76 USD). But, as I said, at least it was really good. And we had good company too!

Kevin, Ruth, Owenita, and Aron.

They are one of the couples signed up to come to Churchill with us next year.

Of course we are still doing our power walk every morning. Yesterday, we came across this on the bike path...

Unfortunately it was not alive. Must have got run over.

And speaking of snakes... we had Ivy out of her cage yesterday.

Ivy is a Yellow Bellied Pied Python.

Ankle bracelet.

And while today (Saturday) is actually Sadie's birthday, her celebration with friends began yesterday. So there are six 13-14 year old girls in the house, and they had a sleepover out in the tent in the backyard last night.

Happy birthday Sadie!

Happy 13th Sadie!
