The one thing that we find with storage, the more storage you have the more "stuff" you bring and with the more you bring the more chance you have of being overweight. We find we really have to keep an eye on that because it really doesn't take much to make the unit too heavy.

Less than one month now! The faster you travel the more jostling about there is and the more chance of things coming loose. Not saying that speed will cause a problem but it certainly doesn't help. I can't see the roads being any worse than some of the ones that we have been on in Mexico and Sherman has stood up to those. I guess you also have to be careful when buying a unit with the cabover, to make sure that there isn't already a problem with leakage.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-18246276129029117942017-08-26T17:28:24.705-04:002017-08-26T17:28:24.705-04:00If I ever had to drive one it would need to be thi...If I ever had to drive one it would need to be this size as well, not sure we could live full time in one this size but for traveling down to South America for a year or so, we could. :-)Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-64828803180239376662017-08-26T12:19:11.571-04:002017-08-26T12:19:11.571-04:00We were looking at exrental units as well. However, as Kevin said, there is no such thing as a perfect RV. My problem with this one on the bad roads in South America would be the over cab section of the RV, the windows in that section and the over cab is not solid fiberglass. There is a blog (which no longer is alive) from Tom and Angela while traveling South America (Kevin remembers), and Tom records all the times he had to take a break to repair a leak in the over cab section and eventually rebuild it all together. Also, Tioga George had all the overcab windows removed to stop leaks, fiberglassed as one piece and used the area for storage.
