Evelyn...I agree with you, that there does seem to be an unusal amount of mushrooms around this year. I think it has to do with the rain and humidity as well. I did see the pictures that you posted the other day. I saw a few like that when I went for the walk with my Dad the next day, but I forgot my camera then.

Thank you for you wishes for a quick recovery for Whiskey. She seems to be doing well and is adapting well to the new food so far.

Hope you are able to get your bedroom slide fixed without having to go to Indiana to have it worked on!

The mushroom pictures are great. We are seeing an unusual amount and variety of mushrooms this year. I posted a few pictures on my blog several days ago. I think it is due to the amount of rain and high temperatures this year.

Sam and Donna...We hope the diet works as well. Whiskey was and still is a dog who loves to eat and will often try to eat whatever she can manage to get. We often call her "garbage guts" we have to be quick to grab it out of her mouth and she doesn't make that easy. Luckily she hasn't gotten anything real bad, hope Rigg's doesn't either.

Hope the diet works and Whiskey doesn't need the surgery, we also worry with Rigg's being so young and active he taste's everything in sight, which isn't bad in the house where you can watch wat he grabs, but who knows what he is eating outside, just don't want hin to get bone splinters or plastic.
