My sister-in-law has a little egg selling thing going on, and she doesn't worry about keeping them cold. Don't ask how I know.<br /><br />Also, just as a side note, beer, wine and liquor sales in the US are very much all over the place as to what you can buy and where, depending on state law. Pennsylvania for example has some of the strictest laws. Not based on religion or anything it seems, but the power of various groups; e.g. you have to buy a 6 pack of beer in a bar for takeaway and a "distributor" for purchases by the case.
