Seeing we don't have deep pockets, it seems like this DIY kit and Kevin's hard work and patience has saved us some money. The repairs aren't perfect but they certainly are much better. We still have leftover product so if we get another chip or crack we can try doing the repair right away and see what kind of difference it will make.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136052866820208847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-23301148784270156432016-09-18T10:33:10.874-04:002016-09-18T10:33:10.874-04:00thumbs up again!!! man you guys surely keep a gre...thumbs up again!!! man you guys surely keep a great blog! this is a lot of work to keep up. thank you for all your hard work on your blog.DianaToddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08712389856371124625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-78836758232443105282016-09-17T23:17:05.795-04:002016-09-17T23:17:05.795-04:00It could actually cure a bit more once it is out i...It could actually cure a bit more once it is out in the sun for a day or two.living.boondockingmexicohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17157433834193440923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-45734297410762675652016-09-17T22:43:11.047-04:002016-09-17T22:43:11.047-04:00Is there anything you won't try?Is there anything you won't try?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12957769699606351020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7171307653508307040.post-67647600926100454232016-09-17T20:24:09.321-04:002016-09-17T20:24:09.321-04:00I think you did a great job, Kevin. When I'm parked for a couple of months I take the blades off and store them inside, and if I'm parked for a couple of weeks or less I put tennis balls under the arms to lift the blades off the glass. Keeping the blades off the glass prevents them from taking a set to one side or the other. The blades are still good after 6 years of New Mexico sun! Also, RainX makes the blades work much better and it's a lot easier to get bugs off. Had a similar experience with buying a kit to recharge the near empty dash air in the RV we had. Much cheaper than taking it to a shop and it did the trick.
